Dear Editor,

Please allow me to write and express my opinion on the November 24th,
Presidential Election, as well as to advise my Fellow Gambians to exercise
maturity and vote in a peaceful atmosphere.

My fellow Gambians, next Thursday will be the time again to bend over the
ballot box and choose a leader to run our country for the next five years.

Therefore, I humbly and respectfully urge my you all to again re-elect
President Jammeh, for continued peace, stability, development, scholarship
packages for Gambians and respect for all regardless of race, tribe,
religion and age.

However, I will advise all of you to give a deaf ear to those ‘so-called
journalists’ in The West doing nothing but tarnishing The Gambia and
President Jammeh's image.

I don't think they have learned anything from The West and they don’t even
know how to criticize constructively. President Jammeh is the incumbent
president of The Gambia, therefore, insulting him means insulting our
motherland, The Gambia, who made us what we are today.

President Jammeh is sitting there because the Gambian people voted him
into office. The Gambia is among the countries that have the most
transparent electoral process. Therefore, rejecting President Jammeh means
rejecting the will of majority of Gambians.

Infact, looking at the behavior of the opposition party leaders, tells you
that they have no interest in the development of the country and the well
being of its people.

The opposition could not even unite and form one party to oppose President
Jammeh. This tells you that they are just after the State House chair, but
not the interest of the Gambian people.

My fellow country men and women, please continue to ignore those
dissidents in The West who have no good intention for our beloved Gambia.
They are living in The West but they are not learning from The West about
how to constructively criticize their leaders.

The Westerners love their countries and respect their leaders. All parties
come together after elections to put their country first and I think it is
high time these ‘so-called journalists’ learn something like that.

Running their mouths from The West would not change anything in The Gambia.
If you want to unseat the president, then go back home and prove it to the
Gambians that you love them like Jammeh has demonstrated in all aspects.

Insallah, President Jammeh will smile after the election results are
announced. Go vote massively for President Jammeh on November 24th. Long
live The Gambia, Long Live President Jammeh and the Gambian people.
