I agree with Rob and Adrienne on the evening carbs and have seen that in a number of fitness publications as well. I also find that it seems more
natural; I remember those old oatmeal breakfasts that just made me want to immediately nap!

Yahoo has a daily health tip which you can subscribe to; that was yesterday's by the way. I also heard a famous radio D.J. this morning talking about
his new diet which was surprisingly paleo. I think that Paleo eating is becoming "normal" in the eyes of our society and all of you "early adopters"
will have to put up with the newcomers lecturing you on the wisdom of natural eating.

One thing about stretching: have any of you read Pavel's book on stretching? His views might surprise you. He only advocates joint rotation and
ballistic stretching (e.g., kicking your foot up to meet your outstretched hand). The traditional "feel-the burn" type of stretching only results in
more injuries according to him. I agree, maybe because I've always hated stretching and have never seen much of a performance decrease (or injuries)
due to my lack of stretching. I feel that the popular stretching we do has become a mantra for dopey fitness buffs like the pasta and rice dinner. I'd
be curious to anyone's views on stretching who has read Pavel's book (I think it was titled "Beyond Stretching").
