Greg used a heat gun, you know, the type that you use for stripping
paint.  Then he put in new heat tape where he could.  We put a hair drier
with a thermostat next to the holding tank.  this type of hair drier was
important because it wouldn't burn itself out, but turn itself off before
it could overheat.  Then, he put our neighbor's hair drier on the spot
that was actually frozen.  The only time that Greg talked to the plumber,
the plumber informed him that he was pretty booked so Greg just kept
working at it.
