During the early eighties, I was a member of a large Baptist church of about
2000 people. A Russian man who had been put into prison for preaching the
Gospel in Russia was sent to Siberia. He said it got to 80 below zero
during the winters at times and the rats would even jump into bed with them
to keep warm. He had to use a translator because he had not learned enough
English. He went to the Whitehouse and met Reagan at the time. The Russian
pastor told us that he handed Reagan a tiny miniature copy of John's Gospel.
He asked Reagan not to forget the Christians in Russia and to pray for them.
Reagan took the little tiny Bible about the size of a postage stamp, and put
it into his pocket. He told the Russian Baptist Pastor that he would always
carry that little miniature Bible in his pocket to be reminded to pray for
them. Just think how many millions of Christian were set free during the
eighties in Russia and eastern Europe.

Phil.
