Does anyone know if prisons or other places of criminal confinement as well
as homeless shelters, etc., allow for the careful preparation of gluten-free
diets for Celiacs? I'm impressed with the growing number of g/f suppliers -
both grains and prepared foods - and also know they are more expensive than
foods containing gluten. I wonder if the confined and less comfortable of us are
even diagnosed when presenting typical symptoms.

My experience in recent years as a patient in the hospital here was not
favorable - had to bring my own food in order to have something that was safe and
tasty.
