It is that time of year again in the US. You may have heard that Girl Scouts is selling a GF cookie this year. Here is what all Celiacs should know about the cookies as you make your informed decision about buying/eating them

1. GS in the US has the choice of two bake houses. ABC Bakers OR Little Brownie Bakers. Different geographic areas of the Girl Scout management select the bakery they wish to use.

2. ABC Bakers has a GFCO certified chocolate chip peanut butter oatmeal cookie. It is made in a dedicated gluten free facility.

3. Little Brownie Bakers has a gluten free butter cookie with toffee bits. It is certified by nsf.org to meet FDA standards.

4. The option for mail order exists through various websites.

Enjoy.
