"I spoke with a representative from Taco Bell on the telephone. The
list is very limited. Here it is:
Pintos and Cheese
Bean Tostada (ONLY when made with the original tostada shell)
Side Items/Toppings:
- Nacho Cheese Sauce
- Cheddar Cheese
- Three Cheese Blend
- Red Sauce (all red sauces)
- Hot or Mild Sauce (NOT the Fire Sauce)
- Guacamole
- Sour Cream
- Produce Items (Lettuce, Diced Onions, Green Onions, Tomatoes)
WARNING: We have recently begun frying our nacho chips and red strips
in the stores. Our nacho chips do not contain wheat, but the chips are
fried in the same fryer in which what containing items are prepared.
Therefore, we have removed nacho chips and red strips as acceptable
items for gluten free diets.
