Hi,

I'm going to get genetic testing for another disorder
next month.
I've been a self-dx celiac for over 20 years. Would
the genetic testing of my white blood cells still
detect the HLA-DQ2 and/or HLA-DQ8? Or would the rectal
challenge mentioned in 'Dangerous Grains' be better?
The reason I want either test, is to KNOW that I
actually have the disease, and to help my adult son
with his doctor. [My son knows that eating TOO much
wheat and dairy gives him stuffed-up nose and throat.
So he avoids eating alot of pizza/burgers/cakes/etc.]
Please just helpful comments.
Thanks
Debbie in Spokane
