>In trying to avoid milk, I am also looking for sources of calcium.

The nutritionist I consulted told me to drink Lactaid which is available
in the milk section of grocery stores. My carton of "Real" Lactaid says
it is 100% lactose reduced, vitamins a & d added, ultra-pasteurized.
Available in 2%, 1%, and no fat.

Lactaid tablets don't seem to work for me, perhaps because I never quite
figured out how many tablets I need to chew. Lactaid milk has not given
me any problems, but maybe that's bec. I only take it with cereal. I've
never liked milk and haven't drunk it since childhood. Wonder if I
should start (for the calcium) now that I've found a substitute?

P.S. thanks to those of you who recommended Rice and Shine and Crunchy
Rice and Corn cereals. Now I eat breakfast cereal again!
