Thanks again my friends. It is going to be very nice to know a few things
prior to arriving.

Concerning gf meals on United flights:

It was split. Those that were happy were very happy with United and those
that were unhappy were unhappy. It is suggested that I bring some food just
in case. One person's gf meal was thought to be misplaced but was found, so
I will call to remind about my meal acouple days before we leave.

There are 3 health food stores on Maui.
Good Earth in Kahului
one in downtown Lahaina
Hawaiian Moons Natural Foods in Kihei (which is where we will be staying)

Many people said to pack as much as I can of nonparishable gf food and
purchase fresh fruit and veggies there. One person suggested to freeze food
and take it with me.

Resturants:
Be specific as to what you want and don't be afraid to return meal if it is
not right-be firm.

Many Asian resturants make it easy to eat out. Was able to substitute rice
for bread.

Advance notice to resturants should make it possible to eat out.

Thanks once again.
