I was so dissapointed to learn from my Australian Coeliac Journal copy that
our Ansett Airlines have decided to cease availability of GF and other
dietory meals because of the difficulty of control of quality from their
contractors and risk of actions against them if someone dies.
 
I fear that this might be an excuse to reduce service for a minority and as
a frequent flier overseas and interstate with CD, would suggest that other
airlines may take the same lead.
 
It is my intention to email the airlines here to deliver a message
confirming our need and seek assurance that the service will be there when
required.
 
It may be worth adding that apart from poisoning by intention or by
negligent practices, I feel I am responsible for what I stuff down my throat
in any event.
