This information may have appeared here before, but with all of the
interest in vinegar here lately, I thought this information was worth
posting. Heinz customer service has informed me that in all of their
products which contain vinegar, the vinegar is made from corn. In fact
they said they make the vinegar themselves, which is the same Heinz
clear vinegar we find on the grocery store shelves.
    I received this information from them over the phone, so if any of
you would like to confirm this information (recommended), please do so
directly with Heinz. I have no interest in this company whatsoever, and
am passing this on to my fellow Celiac list mates only as a courtesy.
