Hello everyone,

I have a favor to ask. I am writing a essay for my biology class, and it is
based on an article that was published by University of Texas Southwestern.
The article states that it conducted a study of several individuals that
were celiac's, that had been on a gluten free diet. The participants were
feed moderate amounts of oats, and were said to have had no reactions at
all. The article states that it may be a suitable grain for celiacs. I am
curious to know if after being on a gluten free diet, have you tried oats,
and if so how did it effect you. I know that it makes me very sick. I have
been on a gluten free diet for a while now, and do not believe I can
tolerate it. About a year ago, I ate a Taco from Taco Bell and got very ill,
it turned out it contained oats.

I would appreciate any feed back that you are willing to share. I will
summarize back to the list and will let you know how my report turns out.

Thank you all,

Lucy Shriver
