I believe it is difficult to prove or disprove a link between the effects
of a gluten-free/cassein-free diet.

What you have to consider is the tangible effect on the person. I usually
recommend people journal behavior and health issues before, during, and
after any medication change or therapy. Relying on an "in the moment"
assessment has too many variables such as our own fatigue, frustration,
hopes, or skepticism. This allows for a more judicious look at the impact
of any therapy.

The gluten-free/cassein-free diet is a nutritionally sound diet and will
cause no harm. Studies are something that is done to try to find causes. It
doesn't suggest that changes seen are unwarranted. Just that they can't
prove it to be true for the masses. Sharing well-done studies is how we all
learn. They are best when used in equal measure with professional judgment.

Take care,
Joan
