I noted with interest that an individual sought advice on celiac friendly
dining places in Rome.  What about Chicago?
I am going to be spending time in Chicago in the near future.
Are there list members who live in or around Chicago or are familiar
with Chicago enough to recommend restaurants that are more sympathetic to
people on the the celiac diet or food stores that have good selections of
gluten free products?  Please post recommendations on the list or feel
