It's October, and time for harvest festivals. A local nature center is having a festival this weekend and the kids can make scarecrows. What grain is hay? Is it made from wheat, or does it have a high degree of cross-contamination from wheat? Or is it safe?

Can my daughter touch it to make a scarecrow? Can she even be in the area? Can she go on hay rides?

Thanks.
