Ventured off to Kinnikinnick Foods (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) today.
They were recommended by the Hospital when I was diagnosed with CD in
December.

Bread is NOT a vague distant memory for me, it's been less than 2 months
since I've eaten it, and I remember it well. Although I have learned
to eat various gf breads available, I confess they fall short of the
mark. I bought 6 different varieties of bread at Kinnikinnick, and a
package of "chewy chocolate chip cookies". When I got home I ate 3
pieces of bread right from the package ... NOT toasted, NO butter ...
delicious and had 'real' bread texture. Managed to eat 1/3 of the
cookies too. No more self-pity in the baked goods department for me.

I have no affiliation with this company (wish I did!). Their web site
is www.kinnikinnik.com and it appears they ship all over Canada and to
the US as well.
