I inadvertently used a bad example (caramel color) in my previous message re
Log Cabin syrup.  Actually, the woman I spoke with today did say that the
caramel color used in their syrups was made from corn syrup.  It was the
ingredients they buy from outside vendors (she didn't specify) which she
indicated they couldn't vouch for.
 
Sorry--didn't mean to mislead anyone.
