Dear Stuart,
You asked if anyone has had experience with environmental medical
doctors. Well, I have and it just about saved by life. I went to Dr.
Sidney Baker in Connecticut, who really got to the bottom om my multiple
symptoms. He is the one who diagnosed the celiac, and many food
allergies. I finally achieved good health by avoiding certain food, and
taking megavitamin therapy. My regular MD wanted to give me about 5
different drugs to suppress the symptoms instead.
Of course, environmental medicine has duds too. I went to one
here in Oregon for a while before I found a good one, Dr. John Green in
Canby. You just have to use your wits and your intuition to evaluate the
doctor who evaluates your son. I hope you find a good one. Good luck to you.
