I guess this item is the one that convinced some people that EVERYTHING
possible foodwise is now available for Passover.

This is a honey based beer that is kosher under Rabbi Z. Blech (for
those that don't know his name he is highly respected as a technical
expert in many aspects of food production & travels all over the world
inspecting plants, etc. I have talked with him and he is aware of the
requirements for a gf diet). This is new this year and so I have no
feedback about the taste. It is being made by the Ramapo Valley Brewery
which is located in NY, all their beers are kosher year round and based
on what I saw on their website (I didn't list it since I did not save
the url and don't have time to relocate it) they are a micro brewery.
They don't have anything about this beer on their website.

They are currently selling it for $50 + shipping for a case of 24
bottles (this is the kosher for Passover price, for those that don't
know there is alot of extra work/expense that is needed for passover
food productions especially for a specialty item like this so the price
would need to reflect those costs, hopefully the price for during the
year would be slightly lower but I did not ask about that issue) They
are only doing a limited production for Passover but if enough interest
is expressed they are willing & able to make small batches throughout
the year (if you are interested I was told the best thing to do is call
& leave a message for Egon Linzenberg).

If you are interested in obtaining a case of the Kosher for Passover
beer then call and leave a message for Mr. Linzenberg (he does call back
very quickly). He emphasized they are only doing the limited production
of the Kosher for Passover beer.

Their phone number is: 845-369-7827

I did question them about the legality of shipping the beer to a
consumer and am not sure they understand the laws in MD about this (you
are suppose to go through a retailer & a distributor even when you are
directly ordering from out of state, however don't know if this applies
to beer or just liquor & wine). However I have asked a local liquor
store to check into getting the beer and hopefully they will be able to
ensure no one is breaking the law.
