I have been waiting a while to post because I wanted to be sure what was giving me the stomachache. It appears to be the probiotics. I have discontinued the probiotics and have re-introduced the enzymes gradually. No stomachaches. Several people have told me they cannot tolerate probiotics. Other suggestions were brand names of enzymes, which are good to know about. I am using enzymes recommended to me by a knowledgeable health food store owner. So far everything is going well. I'm disappointed that I can't use the probiotics but I hope the enzymes will help me to digest my food better.

On the same note, I became aware recently that Beano has wheat in it. I have found another product, Say Yes to Beans, that I am using instead. I cannot tolerate beans without it. I also had to switch from a generic to Lactaid (at more cost) because I see on the label my generic has traces of wheat also. Read all labels!

Beverly
