(Responding to BasicBeti's info about her son Jeff and Down Syndrome etc)Your
responce to being medicated for stress was RIGHT ON! Your post has brought me
to the edge of tears; my heart goes out to you. I have a grown healthy highly
intelligent successful daughter; my life for 45 years was full of problems
including my unknown celiac disease and I made some difficult choices inorder
to raise her by myself. I finally self diagonosed after years of medical
ignorance (doctors are people mechanics not gods). Sometimes I get angry for
my lost years but you make me so much more thankful for my daughters good
health and 'future yuppie life'.
I found this support and a local group after years alone. Recently there have
been negative posts about non-factual and personal posts filling up the
mailing list. I personally LOVE this part of celiac mailing list. It is what
makes it human and not just cold facts. I, too, am new to this whole email
thing; as a full time student time is precious yet I spend hours creating
celiac files. When I get my system complete I will offer to SHARE it with
everyone.
A great big hug and thx for your post. E-mail me personally if yoy like at
