Hi listies,
I am writing tonight because I am continuing, after 3 years!, to have fevers about every 7-10 days. My doctor's cannot figure it out. I'm sure it's an inflammation of some kind. When they come on, my fingers start to ache, and many times my back as well. Almost feels "flu-achy". They usually last about 4-5 hours, with the highest being 101.5 at times. I also get a pretty nasty headache, too. I have had physicals annually, and many times my C reactive protein levels are high. I sort of suspect arthritis, but went to a rheumatolgist and he said my numbers were high, but not high enough for rheumatoid arthritis. I've been to an infectious disease doctor, a hematologist, my internal med. dr., and an asthma/allergy specialist. I was diagnosed celiac 16 years ago, and I don't cheat on my diet. Does anyone experience this kind of thing? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Jan
