Everyone has their individually mourned "never agains". Mine is papier
mache paste. Have had many wonderful family and classroom and theater
experiences over the years with papier mache made of flour cooked up on
the stove. Now I've shared the Lion's heads I made a decade ago with my
third graders, who want to make their own animals. I *can't* take them
homemade wheat paste, and budgets don't extend to commercial
preparations (should they be wheat free - I haven't even checked).
Tried the archives. Anyone have substitutes?

Big thanks, ahead. I'll summarize.

Ellen
