I believe that what Vance is saying is very true. I am one of those
who hasn't had the "official" diagnosis because it would mean eating
gluten again. Even my doctor said he didn't see why I would want to do
it because whatever the outcome, I still can't eat gluten. Besides I
figure that if I don't have the official diagnosis, it's one less
pre-existing condition for the insurance companies to nit-pick about!

My doctor believes I have CD, so do I. When I don't eat gluten I don't
have DH and I'm not sick to my stomach. Pretty simple, really -- I
don't and won't eat gluten and I don't care what name is given to this
disorder! :-)
