I have just been diagnosed with asthma to go along with my Celiac, Graves and Glaucoma. The Dr. prescribed 2 medications for me. One for daily use which was FlowVent and which is GF. The other is Albuterol as a rescue inhaler. The companies I have talked to about the Albuterol are Warrick, Schering, and Key Pharm. all say their inhalers are not GF. I called Dey Pharm. which my drug store does not deal with, and they used to but no longer make the Albuterol inhaler as of December 2002. I have checked the archives about an Albuterol Inhaler but the latest information I have found is dated in 2000. Does anybody use Albuterol inhalers and if so which companies make these? I will be glad to summarize any information I receive.
Marie in MD
