Was excited to see that the wording in the Food Allergen Consumer Protect=
ion Act includes gluten (wheat, rye, oats, barley) You can read the curr=
ent version of the bill at http:// thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query. I have =
gone around to all the local grocery stores and healthfood markets puttin=
g up flyers encouraging people to write their congressmen. I received a =
letter back from Senator Roberts of KS letting me know that two other gro=
ups have expressed concerns to him about this bill. The Food manufacture=
rs and the agricultural community. The food manufacturers I understand =
the agricultural community I do not. Any insights on how it would affect=
them? Every voice counts. Please let the members of the subcommittee o=
n Health, Education, Labor and Pensions hear from you on this bill. =20
