They never do. I was in the Navy during the first Gulf War. It was messy
also. We'll never really know the whole story to make a good judgement
about whether it was a good idea or not. I think Powell has had to do a lot
of behind the scenes mending everytime Rumsfeld, Bush, or Fleischer talk
thow and I've notice Powell is towing the party line more now than he was at
the beginning.
I don't mind calling Saddam Hussein (or in the parlance of the old
Animaniacs Sodarn Insane) names but, the go it alone cowboy stuff really
rankles a lot of people.

I m liberal and conservative on many things. I really have doubts about this
war.
But they are not telliing evrythying to the public.
