I read that a year or so ago, it's under a different title here in
Aus. `The Surgeon of Crowthorne'.  It's brilliant!!!!  I loved all the
details of how the OED was created.

btw can anyone tell me WHY British and Australian books often have
their titles changed when they are published in America.  I was caught
out a few months ago ordering a book from America that ended up being
one I already had under a different title.  Extremely irritating!
