There are three levels:

    Idiot-IQ < 20.. later termed severe MR

    Imbecile IQ 21-49 later termed moderate MR

    Moron IQ 50 - 75 later term mild MR

    I was never comfortable with these levels since they mainly based on IQ,
thus not considering social skills. I assessed one autistic child oof 12 which
could not define simple words such as "orange",  yet could read the title of
the test manual! She had never been to school! Maybe that's why she could
read! LOL
