I think your email is right on!  Jealousy is the only thing I can  think of 
to explain some things I've experienced, but it makes no sense to  me.
 
And what you say about not mentioning personal things at work - you're  right 
on again!
I innocently once joined in on a convo about someone's cleaning lady.   I 
made the remark it would be nice to have some one like that and my co workers  
ended up trying to get me a personal care attendant!  All because I made  one 
comment (and yes, they were parents).
I've learned to keep it zipped.  I am, however, still learning how to  stand 
my ground when coworkers do try to butt into my life.  It's hard for  me.
 
Thanks for your email.  I just needed to know I wasn't the only person  with 
such experiences.
