Yes, you should make a budget in order to be able to handle your own money.
Don't get too reliant on your brothers, because they could easily rip you off.
 I'm not saying that it will happen but you must be involved in your own
financial matters.

As far as foolish choices, you are only human.  Everyone makes bad choices.
You should not be held back by past mistakes.  You should be given every
opportunity to learn how to use your money wisely.
