Hi Susie,
Here's two ideas off the top of my head...   I know what you are going
through with because I suffered the same thing without a computer...
You're going to have to get yourself a notebook computer, however...  1)
Word prediction software might be one way to take notes fast.  2)
Another way might be to use a tape recorder, tape the class, then use a
voice recognition program to put the taped class in the computer.
Another idea along the same lines is to have the voice recognition
program in the notebook and record the class. then edit the file when
you get home...
those are my ideas...
