You can gather information on the ECO-14 on www.prentrom.com and even
download the actual software that operates on any computer running Windows
XP (the voice only runs 90 days). But however even without the voice, that
software remains useful to therapists and parents, they can work on
somebody's device without needing the physical unit, they can transfer any
changes via flash drive in seconds. It has been a exciting project to work
on, and I'm looking forward to work on something else, I don't yet know what
that is going to be. If it was up to me, I'd work on a way where we can fix
people's devices remotely (mainly software issues) via the Internet. Another
thing that we still need to work on is improving access issues, there's
still several who can't effectively use a communication device because of
motor issues.
