Our schools here in Oakland had to have a state whatchamacallit come in to
take control. One of his first moves was to take back the teachers and
administrators (somebody please remind me where the ' goes in this case) cell phones
which amounted to nearly a half a million dollars a year for long distance. I've
read instances where Oakland kids are using text books that date back to the
60s.  Oakland teachers have forced the school administrators to keep cutting
back in the number of administrators. I hope the new guy can figure out better
way to run this school district.
