    I know we have discussed the before, but McAllen is popular with "snow
birds", non-Texans who wiinter in the valley. It is inexpensive living, but
it is isolated. However, many of my friends here go  to Reyanoso for dental
work. It's less than half charged up here. But many Texans retire to the
coast(Rock Port, Port O'Connor, etc)
