piano lessons enabled me to type with both hands. unfortunately, I find it faster and more accurate to use one hand, but do encourage fun stuff, perhaps ceramics,

Thank you all for your fine suggestions and support.

I think I will relax and do as suggested -- develop more hand strength through fun stuff!!

Dylan's OT has made some suggestions for very, very simple beginning practice on the keyboard so I will continue with that.

Mostly I just want Dylan to have enough handwriting ability to be able to write things when he absolutely has to do so.
