...spanking new 8-unit condo development in pretty much destroyed town
(one-third of buildings are completed, one-third were started years ago and
never completed, one-third were barely started, plus roosters running around
just about everywhere.):
Guy laying concrete block units ("Z" shaped, if you know what I mean) on
flat sand ground for driveway. But between sand and blocks guy is putting
big sheets of 10? mil plastic sheeting. Cannot explain why, just says it is
good.
In a freezing climate, I would assume the sheeting would just trap water
and freeze-jack (new coinage?) the things. But Trinidad is rarely below 60
degrees. But, what is the plastic for?
