Please don't be railing against the architects who design things which are difficult to maintain. This type of thought is what keeps architectural conservators in business. Imagine designing the thoughtful intervention for paint build-up removal from holes in the historic metal ceiling. Lotsa Q-tips there.

I can't wait to get my hands on some early Frank Gehry stuff!!
