I was living and working in Oxford (UK) when Nikolaus Pevsner was writing
his book on building types. He scheduled a talk in Oxford on banks, and I
called him and said I had (with me in Oxford) color slides
of all the Sullivan banks. Guess what he said.

He said, We don't do color.

(Don't tell that story without giving me credit.)
