Hi, all.

Well, what is coming to be known now as the Cross-country Blind Ops net will
meet once again this coming Sunday: October 18 at 6 p.m. MDT, or 0000 Z, on
or near 7217 KHZ.

I hope to hear many of you again this week. If last week was any
indication, band conditions seem to be improving, and the interest in our
net is broadening, even beyond us as blind hams.

I do need to make several additional comments here, before I forget:

1. Remember that Sunday: October 25, will be the beginning of eastern
standard time, so be sure to adjust your times accordingly.

2. I will be unavailable to take the net on Sunday: November 1, due to a
work commitment that evening. So, we'll need to appoint another net control
for that week.

3. Keep in mind too that, even though I'm quite willing to take net control
as often as I can, it would be good for others to take a turn at it as well,
so if you'd like to volunteer, and think you can do it reasonably well from
your location, please don't hesitate to volunteer.

Looking forward to talking to everyone again this Sunday!
