Hi, all.

Well, folks, I think that, due to a number of concerns and issues, I'm
leaning toward purchasing the Kenwood TS480 as my HF rig of choice for the
motor home.

Can anyone recommend a good quiet switching power supply for that rig?

I have been corresponding with Kevin (K7RX), and he suggests the Samlex
1223, but I can't seem to find it available anywhere, unless I'm just
looking in the wrong places.

I have an MFJ 4125 22-25 amp supply that I have used before, although it
seems somewhat noisy on parts of the HF band spectrum, and also has a rather
loud fan.

If you have recommendations, could you give me approximate prices too?

I think I might go for a slightly larger supply for the TS480, so maybe a
35-amper would be the most practical.

Thanks as always, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
