I don't think there is any time in the 718, there's no way for it to know
the time, no clock or anything. I had one for a very short time but things
didn't work out with that deal. If I ever move in to an apartment and need a
real low profile station, that or another 706 would be my best choices I
think or maybe the IC-7000 if the price comes down a little by then which
I'm sure it will. It will be the same price as the 706 in a couple years I'd
bet and the 706 will unfortunately be discontinued. It's been out a long
time though.
