Hi all:

Due to my less desk space, I've decided that my next mic will be a pro studio mic, Shure PGA-58, which is a hand held vocal mic.
It has a frequency response of 50HZ to 15KHZ and can be used with the Heil CC1 kits. That said, what type of connection is the PTT? I think its a 1/4 stereo but not sure. As I already have a foot switch, I'll change out the RCA connection for a plug to match the CC1 PTT which I could probably pick up along with the mic for about 7 bucks. I'm looking to spend about 150CAN to put it on the air and the Heil line of products aren't cheap.
I could go with the Heil HMM which sells for 90 bucks up here. It requires the AD1 kit, which I have but at the end of the day, I'm still looking at 125 put on the air after taxes and shipping.
