Now, tell me about the hard ware, etc., probably wireless? Might be easier 
for outdoor sensors since here it gets well below zero a lot of winter. :) I 
suppose it does in Ohio as well. :)

The software I use with my weather station is free and is called:

FreeWx-WI

If you do a search on the web you will find it.
Yes, it is free.
It works reasonably well with my screne reader.
Give it a try.
