Ok, call me an idiot, but I just looked at the manual. sure enough,
automatic repeater offset only works for VHF, go figure! I do have the pl
tones in my repeater listings, so at least that's covered. I'm guessing I
hit the wrong button when I was first trying to use the thing or it just
wasn't set right, and that's why it's not working. All the freqs around here
are 443/444 range, so I'm off to try setting it to positive and maybe I'll
get somewhere.
