Well, again, I'm really sorry to hear about this, and would encourage you to 
get back on the air somehow, even if it means stringing up some wire.

Nothing beats a beam and a good tower, but, as we both know, wire antennas 
are often under-estimated.

I used to have a tower at the home QTH here in Michigan, but donated it to a 
nearby county EOC when we moved to Colorado for the year back in 2009.

There are lots of days when I sure miss that tower and my beam, but I'm 
doing reasonably well with wire antennas here, at least at the current time.
