Absolutely, Lou.

G-mail gets out of hand very quickly if you are not careful, especially in
the all mail folder.

I now have Outlook configured to delete messages from the server once I
delete them.

This is a bit risky, since there is always the chance I could accidentally
delete something I really meant to keep, but it is the only way my I T guy
and I could figure out to keep things manageable.

This is quite interesting, Tom, as I'm having similar problems getting live
mail working on my laptop running windows 7. Of course, my gmail inbox has
every email I've received sinced I started using it in 2008 and livemail
seemed to choke on all that. There has got to be a way to tell live mail to
download only unread messages. If anyone knows what that is, I'd be
extremely grateful if you'd share. I'm sure Tom would be as well. 73, Lou
