This is a well over done but somewhat interesting thread. The problems seem to
be with a small number of people who are complaining about message formatting.
The solution seems to be to create a new list just because of those few folks.
It seems that it would be far easier for those folks to solve the problem from
their end rather than disrupt a list which is running well and has run well for
years.
Another consideration is the loss of privacy that moving the list to someone
like Yahoo will involve. It almost seems as though people don't care about such
these days but there are enough of us on the list who are older who I would
think would be concerned about this.
My vote would be to leave well enough alone.
