Hi Steve;

You need to re-configure the length and the possession of the ground wire.

Also, see what kind of ground wire the antenna calls for and re-examine the 
length.

They should have something about it in the specs.

And, if your shack is on the second floor, maybe you could re-locate it on 
the first floor or better yet in the basement.

This is my opinion and I found that this is what worked for me.
